My first post. How I remember it with loving memories. :) It seems ages ago that I started this blog. I was kind of scared about what would happen. I didn't know anything about blogging. I only knew that I wanted to get my stories out there.
The first day, I was so excited to post that I posted like three or so posts. Then I had no idea about polls, so they were kind of like polls.
Question: if you could have a dragon, what color would it be?
I didn't get any comments on it, but I wasn't going to give up.
Question: if you had a dragon, what would you name it?
None on that, either. But I was excited about blogging, so it didn't damper my spirits.
It goes on, but I'm not sure you want all of that.
First off, there was only like my friend Otter Days on here. (Otter Days and I started a blog on almost the same day.) It was fun just doing it together, since we live so far away that we don't see each other very much.
And then came the moment that changed everything.
I had put my story about Alex and Andria Dragorn up on my blog as a page. I had just started it, but I wanted to put it up as soon as possible because it was just the kind of fast-paced book that I loved. And, I went to check my comments.
A girl named Constence had commented.
Me--"What?! Some person from cyperspace has been on my blog?!?!"
It kinda creeped me out, I admit.
But then I got excited.
Did you write this? It's really good!
That's what Constence wrote to me. I thought it was great that she really liked my story!!! And I couldn't wait to see what else she would write in the future.
That's when I realized that I could go see if SHE had a blog.
It's called Totally Me!. Maybe you've heard of it. :)
You guys would probably know her now as Madeline May. (Apparently Constence Amelia Stowe was a fake name but I didn't know it until she told me. Thanks for telling me, Maddie.) =D
That basically broke the ice. So, thanks, Maddie. :)
After that, I really took a step into blogging.
And then that's when I realized that I could go out and visit other blogs and "meet" others.
The next person I met was Willow. (awesome blog by the way, check it out by clicking here.)
From there on it was like everything fit into place.
I learned all about changing and customizing templates, about adding gadgets, and all that great stuff. =D
And, thanks to all of you guys, I really can make a memorial post.
These are my blog's first memories.
What are yours?

I just stumbled upon your blog and it's very cute by the way. This post made me smile. I felt precisely like you when I started blogging. I had no idea what I was doing and knew nothing about blogging and felt like what I wrote wasn't "good enough."
ReplyDeleteI actually gave up on it for over 5 months. Then something brought me back.
I loved reading this post and look forward to reading more from you!
