2013 Summer Bucket List

This morning I heard a bird. It made me realize that we've been stuck in winter for a long time. There's usually not a sound when I go outside. But somebody opened the door, and I heard a bird.

Bird, bird, trill away,
Start us out fresh today,
A little smile, a little laugh,
Play around in the bird bath.
Sing a merry song to me,
Of the blue sky and black sea,
Oh beautiful bird of God's design,
Come down from the treetops and be mine.

Lazy summer days. They're coming, you know. School will let out in a few months, and then everybody will be running across the countryside. Ah, well, not anymore, I suppose. I suppose most "normal" kids would go to the mall or mope around all day.

I'm thinking about making a summer Bucket List. I don't want to sit inside at the computer all day. I want to enjoy this summer. So I think I'm going to set myself up for an adventure like every day. Oh, yeah, I'll make sure to record the adventures. But I want them to happen. And when I set my mind to do something, you know what happens? I usually end up doing it. I'll say, "I'm going to redo my entire room today", and you know what happens? My room finds itself in a different place by that night. I have a willpower, though sometimes I don't use it. But I've decided that this summer, I'm going to use it. And plenty of it.

So, let's start the bucket list, shall we? :)

Storyteller's 2013 Summer Bucket List
1. GO FOR A WALK AT LEAST ONCE A DAY.
2. GO VISIT ALL OF THE OLD PLACES ON THE PROPERTY AT LEAST ONCE DURING THE SUMMER.
3. PLAN A SCAVENGER HUNT FOR AT LEAST ONE FAMILY MEMBER.
4. PLAY VOLLEYBALL WITH A FAMILY MEMBER AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. (if no one is available, at least play with myself)
5. WRITE IN A NOTEBOOK OUTSIDE, POSSIBLY IN A TREE.
6. TRY AND LEARN TO PLAY THE GUITAR.
7. FINISH THE MOVIE WITH MY BABYSITTING KIDS. (don't ask haha =D)
8. TRY AND SEE HOW LONG I CAN KEEP ON PLAYING BADMINTON THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER.
9. READ 50 BOOKS.
10. REARRANGE MY ROOM AT LEAST ONCE.

Ah, that's nice, isn't it? ;)

So, is it pretty good? Any other ideas?

And I'm going to keep this up on my blog, starting June 1st and taking it off when school starts. I'll be seeing how well I can check things off and actually do stuff. =D

Do you have any plans?

Maybe you can make a bucket list, too! :)

If you do, please tell me. :)

W.O.W Badminton I love that sport me and Ani mastered it over the Summer last year and even got some of our friends super interested in it (but they moved :( sad) I want to make a list of my books I read haven't done it yet though.

I really want to go for a million bike rides on my new vintage style bike! I want to post pic's of it on my blog.
