God is Always there for You

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guide your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus."
~Philippians 4:6-7

If you have not memorized that passage, I would suggest that you do. The words are amazingly powerful, especially for someone like me, who can worry a lot

I don't know what's going to happen in the next few years. Will homeschooling be banned? Will Christians still be allowed to worship freely? Will we still be able to pray and bring a Bible to school? I don't know. If you think about not being a Christian, just a conservative, and looking at everything that's happening to our world, our situation looks pretty bleak right now, doesn't it?

But with God, we have nothing to fear.

"For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."
~Philippians 1:21

Philippians has a lot of great verses. If you haven't read much of Philippians, I'd suggest just sitting down for a day and reading it. (it's only four chapters...) It's really encouraging. Paul has always been one of my favorite writers of the Bible, and Philippians is no exception.

Guys, with God, whatever happens, if we're tortured, if we're put in prison, if we're torn away from our families, if our friends are killed in front of us, if our houses are taken away... whatever happens, God's going to be there for you. All the way through. And He will never leave you nor forsake you. I promise you that. If you put your trust in Him, you will not be disappointed. You might be tortured, you might be put in prison, you might even be killed, but if you are, just know that when you die, when you see Jesus face to face, that Jesus' blood covers all your sins, and you're saved.

God bless.

Informational [please read]

Thanks sooooo much for your comments, which I will answer soon. :)

I have a few things to announce.

First off, I have found this absolutely amazing blog that I think you should follow.

As the button above^ shows, it's called Operation Table Scraps. These ordinary teens are doing great things for God. They're trying to raise money to buy Jesus Wells (I believe it was) and livestock for people in Asia, so that they have food and water. Isn't that awesome?! Please go and support their blog, and maybe even donate!! :) Maybe you can even spread the operation, as they say:)
Up next, I want to tell you guys what has happened to my designing blog. *gasp* Yes, there are going to be a few changes about my designing. I'm still accepting orders, it's still free, etc., but I'm moving the headquarters to here instead of here. You can still follow the Completely You Blog Designs blog, which has been changed to The Guinea Pig (because it's my designing guinea pig =D), but it will/may be deleted, as I'm going to be testing out HTML on it. (like I was going to in the first place. But then I got too attached to it as a blog. So now I'm unattaching myself.)

Does that kind of make sense? So I still have my headquarters, but they're just in a different spot. :) If you were going to get a design, please still do!! I love designing. :) It's one of my [many] passions as a person. :)

Thanks so much, guys!! :)

Later gator.

Over and out.

P.P.S. I'd love to have you guys ask me questions!! Please go and ask me some for my big Q&A post that I'm wanting to do. :) Thanks!! :)

Guest Posting, Q&A, and an Interview

Today, I have several things going on. :) First off, sometime in the near future (like the week after next or something like that) I'm thinking I might want to take a week off blogging (to catch up on things and such), so I'm going to be needing several guest posters for here, Dragonmaster, and Rubberboot Girl. I'm hoping one person for each day, but that might not be possible. ;) So at the most, I need seven guest posters for each blog. Here are what I would need from you:

1. That you be a follower of the blog that you're guest posting for.
2. That you would only post on the day that I ask you to. (or that you get assigned. I'm still not sure how I'm going to do all of this... =P)
3. That you would introduce yourself, leave a link to your blog, and then pick a small topic to talk about. :) Or you can do a pinterest post... I don't really care... just please nothing like a quiz or contest or something really big. ;)

That's all!! :) Pretty simple, right? So if you're at all interested, please talk to me!! :) I'll make sure that we get all of this set up. If you're on Google+, we can talk on there, too, to get things more defined and not as confusing. ;) (I'm under my book character's name, Andria Dragorn. If you're on Google+, I'd love to be in your circles!! :))

Also, I was wanting to do like this big Q&A thing, though I'll give you a little while to think about it, because I just want to be totally peppered with questions. :) If you can't think of anything, here are a few topics that I'd be happy to answer about:

1. Designing.
2. My injury, therapy, what happens about that, etc.
3. Stories.
4. Blogging.
5. My beliefs.
6. What I like.
7. Movies, books, etc.
8. Advice.

I'd really love to have just a whole bunch of questions from you guys!!!!! :)

And then, finally, an interview. :) Sarah was the first one to do my new interview!!! Thanks sooooo much, Sarah!! :) Sarah's from My Randomness and Ramblings, one of my favorite blogs. :) Go check it out and follow!!! She's awesome!!!!! :)

1. First off, please introduce yourself.
Hi! :) I'm Sarah! Nice to be here! ;)

2. And what blogs do you have?
I have just one blog, My Randomness and Ramblings. :)

3. Awesome! What are your blogs about?
It's a mix of everything. I guess you could call it a lifestyle blog. I blog about snail mail, reading, food, pictures, inspiration from Pinterest, and just everyday-life.

4. Sweet. How did you get introduced to blogging?
My older sister Hannah started blogging when she was either 14 or 15, and I wanted one for the longest time, but my mom said to wait until I was older...so a few months ago, I finally made a blog!

5. Please tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm (almost) 16, and I've been blogging for almost 6 months now.

6. What are some things about yourself that we probably don't know?
Well for one, I am really bad at math -- beyond the basics (pretty much going past multiplication and division) I start losing interest really quickly and I hate algebra. I've never had to use it in real life and more than likely never will.

7. What do you think of yourself as? (example: I consider myself artistic)
I think of myself as a Jesus follower. I seriously don't know what I'd do if it weren't for Him. I consider myself as a romantic. I love "making matches" of people I know, and guys (or girls) I think they would make a cute couple with. My sister is also sure that I will get married one day. I think I'm very shy and introverted, but I also like making new friends. I also consider myself a "fangirl" and a Directioner. ;) Shout-out to the fandom! :D

8. What's your religion view?
I am a Christian. <3 I try to love Jesus with my whole heart. And I try to love everybody else the best I can to show that Jesus changed my life.

9. Why do you believe that? What are your thoughts on that?
I believe this for a part because I was raised to believe in the one true God, and for the other part because I believe this wholeheartedly to be true. I have had my doubts like any other believer, and I have searched the Bible for answers. I don't want people to spoon-feed me the gospel. I want to search it out for myself. Nobody's ever asked me before why I believe what I believe so this was something really interesting for me to think about.

10. What would you say the goal of your blogging journey is? (example: recording your life, making people smile, etc.)
My original reason for starting a blog was so that I could connect with some of my other friends who had blogs, to show people bits of my life, and just to blog whatever. I keep having to remind myself to do it because I want to do it, not because other people want me to. So I guess, I blog to make people smile, and to reach the world, and to make new friends.

11. How do you deal with the fact that you can design your blog? (example: I design my own, I use free designs, etc.)
I haven't gone very in-depth with my blog design yet, when I designed the blog look I have now, I just used everything from blogger. Maybe I'll get better at it eventually and try to design it for myself. :)

12. Do you think that you will continue to blog the rest of your life?
Hmm.....probably not for the rest of my life, but hopefully for at least a few more years to come! :)

13. What are you looking for when you visit a new blog? (example: that the author is a Christian, etc.)
I look to see if we have common interests, that way I know I will enjoy their blog all the more!

14. Do you think of yourself when you think of your person on blogger, or do you kind of think of that new name (etc.) that you use on blogger as kind of different?
I kind of think a little differently of myself on blogger, as "Sarah V." than I do in real life. Not too much though.. :)

15. And again, what's your name? ;) Thanks for taking this interview! :)
Sarah's my name, blogging's my game! :p It was my pleasure! I really enjoyed it! :D

Thanks again so much, Sarah!! :) Haven't done the new interview yet? Just go over to my Interview page and fill out the questions. Thanks:)

Pernisia and Rowan--Caleb the Elf

by Poem Girl

I can’t even tell you how angry I was right then, I’d been following the lead of a bunch of wolves that had kidnapped me and Rowan for about three days and she wasn’t even doing anything about it! She told me it was useless to try and escape while they were surrounding us and that wherever we were going we might figure out something useful but all I could think of was my brother Caleb and all the unanswered questions that were stirring in my brain.

“Can’t you at least get them to answer some of my questions?” I whined for the fourth time, Rowan shook her head.

“Fine I’ll try if you won’t say anything more, I need to get back to my thinking.”

“Okay, ask them about my brother, ask them why he isn’t a moonchild and if he’s my twin what is he?” Rowan asked them and then translated for me.

“They say your real mother was a Moon Daughter but your father was something else, Caleb contains very little Moon Child not enough to make any difference.”

“And….” I pressed.

“And Caleb’s race doesn’t concern them and it shouldn’t concern you either.”

“Rowan!”

“I’m just repeating what they said.”

I took a breath and asked quietly, “What…what do you think Caleb is?”

Rowan shook her head again. “You said you wouldn’t ask anymore questions.”

I crossed my arms and glared at her. “Fine then.”

The head wolf stopped then and growled something back at Rowan and then he jerked his head toward me and growled something else. “The wolf says we’re here.”

I frowned and growled at him in my own little way, he just nodded as did the rest of them.

Suddenly a figure darted in the trees above me; it landed right behind the head Wolf. Unsheathing a long sword, it smiled. It was a person, tall with angular features and pointed ears; he was wearing green and a particular look which made me start. “Hello sister.”

“Ca-Caleb?!”

Rowan

Oh. No.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

"You're an ELF?" I choked on my words.

Caleb glanced up at me, looking a little shy. (like what happened to crazy I-won't-leave-you-alone human Caleb?!) "Well... um..."

"Get away from the Moon Daughters!" snapped the wolf, running in between us and Caleb.

Caleb jumped back. "Whoa! He totally almost just bit me!"

"He's a wolf," Pernisia snorted. "Of course he's going to bite you. And where on earth did you get that ridiculous outfit?"

"Well, I kind of just find myself wearing this, and I looked in some water and saw that I..."

"Get in line!" The wolf snapped at Caleb's ankles, making him shriek like a little girl and run behind Pernisia.

Pernisia groaned. "Great. Just great. Now we're all prisoners."

* * *

We camped the night in a small cave inhabited by bats and stinking bugs. The wolves prowled around the front of the cave, while we were pushed into the back where it was pitch black. I couldn't see a thing, not even Pernisia's eyes. As a Moon Daughter, I would've thought her eyes would've glowed like the moon, but they didn't.

"What's going to happen, Rowan?" Pernisia whispered.

"I don't know," I answered. "I just don't know."

I had to come of summarize what had happened in my head--Pernisia and I were Moon Daughters, Caleb had turned into an elf, and now we're going to go and shipped off to some place that'll take three days to get there. What on earth's going to happen to us?

The scary thing? I didn't know.

AS--The Bog

(talking about a lake that shows you your destiny, if you're the right person...)

He looked up at me. "Well, um.... it's said that the only way that you can find it is by being lost."

"Wow," I said sarcastically. "Why haven't we found it yet?"

He glared. "Fine. Let's just keep on going."

We took off walking through the forest.

If we weren't lost already, I was pretty sure we soon were going to be....

* * *
Great. Just great. So, we were lost in the middle of a forest TRYING to be lost so that we could find a lake that would show us our destiny, which was hopefully to find Damien's dad, Brumby, and hopefully be able to find that stupid Lost Locket that we'd been after in the first place!!
Damien and I trudged through the forest, not really going anywhere. I mean, that's how we were supposed to find this stupid lake, right? But we weren't finding anything. Which just made me more mad. And made me give more and more glares Damien's way.

"So where is your lake?" I demanded as we entered what looked and smelled like a bog. I jumped from the rock I was on to another rock.

Damien jumped onto the rock I'd just been on. "It's got to be around here somewhere!" he cried, frowning angrily at a piece of slime that had attached itself to his boot.

"Right," I snorted.

"What was that?" he demanded with a glare.

"Nothing," I answered innocently, adding in a mutter, "But I still don't see your stupid lake."

"What's that?" Damien's voice scared me so much that I fell off the rock I was balancing on and landed face first in the smelly bog.

"DAMIEN!" I screamed angrily, getting up with goo and slime dripping off my hair and clothes. "YOU'RE DEAD!"

"Ooh." He looked me up and down apologetically. "Gee, sorry."

I continued to glare at him. "Help. Me. Out. NOW!"

He gingerly offered me a hand, which I used to pull myself out. (I admit it--I left a significant amount of goo on him, too...) Then we managed to continue to hop through the stones (with me glaring at him the whole time) to the other side of the bog.

"Hey, look," I said, goo and slime dripping off me as I walked along the finally solid forest floor. "There's a look up there. I'm going to clean myself off."

"Arawyn, wai...!" Damien started to say.

He was too late.

I looked into the lake.

And gasped.

Arawyn, we have been waiting for you...

Locked Away #3

How to linkup:
1. Grab the picture and put it in your post. (you can also put it on the side of your blog, too, if you want.)
2. Pretend that you're writing a journal entry. Make up a character, where they live, time period, family, etc.
3. Follow the theme for each linkup for your journal entry. (example: "love", "hate", "forgiveness", "family"....)
4. You must be a follower of this blog.
5. Have fun!! :)

So the theme of this week is..... *drum roll* Pain. It doesn't have to be like back-breaking pain, it can be heart breaking pain, etc.

Dear Diary,

We've received our first letter from my brother. Father hasn't sent any letters yet. But then he's never really been that type of person, to write down his thoughts. But I know that he thinks of us daily. He told me be that before he left, that every time he thought of the stars, he would think of me. "You're my star, Helen," he'd told me. I'll never forget my loving papa.

It pains me, though, what fills my brother Jack's letters. He says that they have to work almost all of the time, training to fight the enemy--the Nazis. He says that he barely has any time to write to us. He says that the men there are mean and harsh, and that at times he wishes that he'd never signed up, that he'd never left England. I am filled with pain for him.

That's not all. Mum's still being strange. My heart aches to ask her what's going on. I'm pained, trying to think of a way to bring it up in a way in which I won't be yelled at. But I can't. The only hope I find is in God.

I'll keep you posted.

Love,
Helen
