"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guide your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus."
~Philippians 4:6-7
If you have not memorized that passage, I would suggest that you do. The words are amazingly powerful, especially for someone like me, who can worry a lot.
I don't know what's going to happen in the next few years. Will homeschooling be banned? Will Christians still be allowed to worship freely? Will we still be able to pray and bring a Bible to school? I don't know. If you think about not being a Christian, just a conservative, and looking at everything that's happening to our world, our situation looks pretty bleak right now, doesn't it?
But with God, we have nothing to fear.
"For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."
~Philippians 1:21
Philippians has a lot of great verses. If you haven't read much of Philippians, I'd suggest just sitting down for a day and reading it. (it's only four chapters...) It's really encouraging. Paul has always been one of my favorite writers of the Bible, and Philippians is no exception.
Guys, with God, whatever happens, if we're tortured, if we're put in prison, if we're torn away from our families, if our friends are killed in front of us, if our houses are taken away... whatever happens, God's going to be there for you. All the way through. And He will never leave you nor forsake you. I promise you that. If you put your trust in Him, you will not be disappointed. You might be tortured, you might be put in prison, you might even be killed, but if you are, just know that when you die, when you see Jesus face to face, that Jesus' blood covers all your sins, and you're saved.
God bless.
Wow, it's like your a preacher or something...
