THE STORY. =D

(left off from.....)

At just that moment.......

(New stuff......)

.......Lochinvar and his friends came charging into the glen!

"Whoa!" cried the boy. "That's Lochinvar!"

"It mostly certainly is,"  I glared. "How unfortunate."

"You there!" cried Lochinvar, pointing at me. "You, urchin! Got off your filthy hind end and get over here! I demand that you do so immediately!"

I WAS about to go and jump on Lochinvar's horse and take off again when the boy knelt right before Lochinvar with his hands clasped.

"Please!" he begged. "Tell me about the Crusades and what part you're going to be playing in them!"

"Get away, Urchin's-Friend!" he yelled at him. "I shall not talk to riff-raff! The idea! Urchin! Get over here and give back my horse!"

"For your information it's Wyn!" I hollered back.

His eyes about popped out of his head. "Lady Mathusahumplaluckwyn!" he cried, nearly falling off his horse in his haste to come before me and bow. "My apologies."

"I should say so!" I snorted.

"I KNEW that you were Lady Wyn!" breathed the boy.

I turned to him. "And what on earth is your name, by the way?"

He glanced up at me, his eyes betraying his trembling heart. "My name, my lady," he started, bowing his head, "is Walter Scott."

Walter Scott? What kind of a name was that?!

"Are you Scottish?" I demanded.

"I don't know," he answered.

"Well you're just as ugly as one," I muttered to myself.

"What was that?" asked Walter Scott.

"Nothing," I answered. I turned back to Lochinvar, commanding him, "You are to take me back to the castle immediately."

Lochinvar nodded and hoisted me up onto the horse that he had been riding, going and grabbing his own. Just as we were about to gallop out of the glen, the Walter Scott kid cried,

"Wait!"

We all turned and stared at him. "Yes?" I asked.

"Will I ever see you again?" He questioned.

I snorted. "Never."

If only my words had been true.....
