The Beautiful Things of Life

I love that feeling when you're one of the only people awake in a house. I don't know. I just like it. If you had to ask me if I was a night owl or an early bird, I'd tell you I was an early bird. Anyway.....

I don't know what it is--maybe it's the fact that I was watching the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers yesterday--but I've just been noticing like the beauties of life. Feeling them. Seeing them. Hearing them. (Hearing them as in I can play Colors of the Wind, from the Disney movie Pocahontas, on the piano.)

(I say watching the Lord of the Rings, because if you don't know, in the second movie there isn't much beauty. In the first movie there's like the first third or so in the Shire, where it's like the prettiest place on earth, and even in the third one they were back in the Shire at the end. So, really, the Two Towers is the "ugliest" movie in that perspective.)

But it seems like I've just really noticed it.

God's blessed us with a truly beautiful world.

Truly beautiful sites. Truly beautiful sounds. Truly beautiful smells. And it's us who has inhabited this place. And sometimes it doesn't feel like we
deserve it or anything. Which we don't. But God gave us this world. to live in. When I think of THAT, I really do feel blessed.

(Just a moment. Just look at that picture. I don't know about YOU, but I want to just jump in it!! I can already feel it.....) ;)

What have you noticed around you that's beautiful?

(Side note: I really hate labeling all of these "random". Because they're not. I mean really.)
